Outlook for the fall 2020 term

Dalhousie University is committed to the safety of our students, faculty and staff, and community. Learn about how Dalhousie will operate this fall.

Start your journey to Dalhousie

The following steps are for Canadian and international high school and post-secondary applicants. Mature students and visiting students have different application processes.

How to apply

Step 1: Choose your program

Dalhousie offers a wide range of programs to build an educational experience that is tailored to you. You can apply for up to three programs. You'll only be assessed for your second and third choices if you're not admitted to your first choice.

If you’re applying to the Faculty of Agriculture, please note all programs are located at the Agricultural campus in Truro, N.S.

Please note: Some undergraduate programs require previous university experience (Dental Hygiene, Environmental Design Studies, Meteorology, Pharmacy and Social Work).
