Computer users should be provided with appropriate office furniture as recommended in the Ergonomics Self Assessment Manual [PDF - 844 KB] in order to reduce the risk of repetitive strain injury or other discomfort. The guide and other valuable information should be reviewed by all computer users. The Environmental Health & Safety Office can provide referral and assistance for ergonomic assessment requests.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there is an error in the application.

  1. Proceed to the Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education website.
  2. Scroll down and click on the yellow 'Login into SharePoint' icon.
  3. At this point you will see a registration document. Print this and follow the directions completely.
  4. You will receive an e-mail from the College of Continuing Education within three business days that you have been added to the Brightspace Ergonomics course. You can then begin your training.
  5. Once you have passed the final quiz, you will receive a Letter of Completion via e-mail within three business days.
